More Tutorial Links

Here are some more tutorials that really helped me out. Thought I would share the links.

Flatting by Mark Sweeny
If you only read one flatting tutorial, make sure it’s this one.

The original link to this tut is broken, so I’m posting my version until it reappears. By downloading, you agree to respect the author and the copyrights of the works used in the tutorial. Be sure to check out Sweeny’s other tutorials at his site http://www.mark-sweeney.com

Rendering by John Rauch at PensNPixels

Pretty good tutorial. Introduces vocabulary like “Cut n Grad.” You need to know this stuff to follow the more advanced tips on GutterZombie.
Update: Sorry, pensnpixels.com is gone. It’s too bad, because that site had some awesome free coloring tutorials. The best I had seen, really. If anyone knows where they went, drop me a comment to let me know.

CMYK Layer Setup for Colorists (at GutterZombie)

Not exactly a tutorial, but a really good discussion about how professionals set up their files. So glad I found this! Make sure you have some good Photoshop chops before trying to follow.

Digital Inking in Illustrator by John Rauch at PensNPixels

Inking pencil art with Illustrator. Good lessons in here.
Update: Sorry, this one is gone too. Crap!
