Thank you

I love comic books.Â? I have been collecting comics since I was ten years old, and I can safely say that my life would not be the same without them (I would have more time on my hands and perhaps even a savings account). In writing Ankhammentu though, I have discovered a new dimension to the comic book experience.Â? I have realized how awesome it feels to bring people the same type of enjoyment that other artists and writers have been bringing me for all these years. So i would like to thank everyone who has been following our work as it progresses.Â? In particular I would like to express my gratitude to the folks at Renderosity who have taken the time to comment and express their excitement about what we are doing here. You guys all rock out loud. Comics rule 4ever, infinity! Peace out.

Andrew

p.s. Extra special thanks to Stan Sakai, Bob Kane, Jerry Seigel, Joe Shuster, Stan Lee, Geoff Johns, Todd Mcfarlane, Alex Ross, Grant Morrison, Green Lantern, Spiderman, Usagi Yo Jimbo, Batman, Superman, and yes, even Lex Luther.?

Who Writes This Crap Anyways!?

To be entirely up front, the raw concept and character sketches for Ankhammentu originated entirely from Joe. I was honored to be asked to be a part of this project, and have collaborated with him to create the story for issue #1 (and beyond?). My goals here are to develop joe’s story to its utmost and to present it in words that are as pleasing to the mind as joe’s artwork is to the eye. Let’s face it though, comics are all about the art, and good writing is just icing on the cake. So I’ll just sit back and happily do my best “ringo” (if you get this joke, you have just earned five drewskie points).

thanks for checking us out

andrew?
