Emma Frost Fashion

What’s up, peeps? So I finally finished a drawing… sort of. I still feel like I’m losing ground due to not being able to draw enough, due to working my butt off, due to trying to maintain my lavish lifestyle :)

But this one has some good qualities. Hopefully more will follow soon. And if anybody’s interested in the brushes, I used my markers (available here) and also some custom-made bristle brushes. I can upload the bristles if anybody wants them.

Sailor Astera

This is a commissioned piece that I created for sehshi-stock over at DA. It’s her fan-fiction character Sailor Astera. I spent some time trying to understand Sailor Moon and all of the surrounding fan-created stories, and I eventually gave up. But I think she’s an evil character who later turns good.

By the way, the redesign is moving along nicely. If you’re on a feed, click over and check it out. Still have a few items left on my to-do list, so I’ll dedicate a whole post to the improvements when its done.

Thanks for visiting, and for all those who said Ankhammentu is dead… well, thanks for giving me that kick in the pants. Now please remove your foot.

Emma Frost Part 3

So? 6 months later, it?s finally done! I did the flats a few months ago, and then started getting a bad feeling about this one. It looked like the image on the left below. Then finally last night, I was flatting some other work, and it was really tedious, so I decided quit flatting, open this piece up and try to finish it off. After doing some rendering it looked like the image on the right. More promising.

Then I added color holds to almost the entire piece, some mist and glows, and a frosty ?X? background. I still think the drawing is a little weak in the mid-ground area, but overall I think it turned out pretty well.
