Please Stand By……

Yes, we have been on an unexpected hiatus with Ankhammentu, but there is plenty more to come. Between Joe’s technical difficulties, my wife and I adjusting to life with a newborn, and the fact that this is strictly a free time undertaking for both of us, nothing much has gotten done over the past month [...]

New Year’s Resolutions

A very happy new year everyone, and welcome to 2007! As the new year gets started, I thought I’d post my goals for this year, as related to comic art and Ankhammentu. Get some freelance experience in professional comics or illustration. Yikes! That’s a big step, but in 2007, it’s the goal. Looks like there’s [...]

Thank you

I love comic books.Â? I have been collecting comics since I was ten years old, and I can safely say that my life would not be the same without them (I would have more time on my hands and perhaps even a savings account). In writing Ankhammentu though, I have discovered a new dimension to [...]

Who Writes This Crap Anyways!?

To be entirely up front, the raw concept and character sketches for Ankhammentu originated entirely from Joe. I was honored to be asked to be a part of this project, and have collaborated with him to create the story for issue #1 (and beyond?). My goals here are to develop joe’s story to its utmost [...]

Page 5 Tonight (No Thanks to Windows)

It’s been a long time since we published the last comic page, but trust me, the time was well spent. Andrew and I got together and put together a loose plan for the rest of this book (planned to be 20 pages or so), and really hammered out the story. Anyways, I’ve seen the writing [...]

Why I Love WordPress

Welcome to the Ankhammentu site! Just wanted to post a quick testimonial about how ridiculously easy it was to create this site. I’ve always worked with Microsoft products, so I was nervous about basing a site on php. But I literally put this site together in under 8 hours today. Really the only work to [...]
